At a glance

• We are Realscape Productions Pty Ltd, the company behind Realscape Productions and our live and immersive experiences, including DARKFIELD, The Nightline, Future Cargo and Mummy's Milk.
• When you use our lead or signup form we collect what you give us (email, name, your country and region, what you are interested in, and your marketing choice) plus some technical data (how you found us - UTM, page and referrer).
• We are a group of productions and brands. If you opt in to hear from us, we may tell you about other relevant Realscape productions and brands, not only the one you first signed up for - including productions run by our group companies in other countries.
• We only send you marketing if you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• We use advertising and analytics partners (such as Meta, Google and TikTok), where they are configured, to measure and promote our experiences.
• Your information may be stored and processed outside your country, including in Australia and the United States.
• You can access or correct your information, and make a privacy complaint. Your exact rights depend on where you are - see section 12.

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Realscape handles your personal information when you use realscapeproductions.com and our related forms and services. The company responsible for your information ("we", "us", "Realscape") is Realscape Productions Pty Ltd (ABN 86 625 039 956), 90 Islington St, Collingwood VIC 3066, Australia. 2. The Realscape group, and why you might hear about more than one show

Realscape Productions produces and presents a portfolio of live and immersive experiences and brands - including DARKFIELD, The Nightline, Future Cargo and Mummy's Milk - and we operate in more than one country through companies in the Realscape group. realscapeproductions.com is our group website.

Because we are a group, the experience or brand you first show interest in is not necessarily the only one we will tell you about. If you opt in to marketing, we may send you news about other Realscape productions and brands that we think are relevant to you - including, as a show date approaches, an experience in another city or country run by one of our group companies. We explain how that works, and how to control it, in section 5. We make this clear here, and in the consent wording when you sign up, so that your choice covers the whole group and not just one show.

3. Information we collect

When you use a lead or signup form on our site, we collect:

• Information you give us: your email address; your name; your country and (optionally) your region; what you are interested in or your reason for getting in touch; and your marketing choice (whether you opted in, and the exact wording and version you agreed to).
• Information collected automatically: your IP address; device and browser information; approximate location or region; how you arrived (referrer, and campaign or UTM information, and advertising click identifiers); analytics identifiers; the page URL you submitted from; and your locale and timezone.

We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, sensitive information (such as health, racial or political information) through this site.

Providing this information is voluntary. If you do not provide the details a form marks as required, we may be unable to respond to you or send you the updates you asked for.

4. How we use your information, and our legal basis

We use your information to:

• respond to your enquiry and provide what you asked for;
• send you marketing about Realscape productions and brands across the group, where you have opted in (section 5);
• measure, analyse and improve our site and our marketing, and understand how our experiences are found;
• keep our services secure and prevent misuse; and
• meet our legal obligations.

Where the law requires us to identify a legal basis for using your information (for example for visitors in the UK or the EU), we rely on: your consent for marketing emails and for non-essential advertising and analytics cookies and pixels; and our legitimate interests in responding to your enquiry, running and securing our site, and basic first-party analytics. You can object to our use of your information for direct marketing at any time, and we will stop (section 12). We do not make decisions about you by solely automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. Marketing, and how cross-group messages work

We will only send you marketing if you have opted in - a box you actively tick, or a clear statement you agree to when you sign up. Your opt in covers Realscape Productions and our productions and brands across the group, in Australia and overseas, as described in section 2. The exact wording you agreed to, and its version, are stored with your record.

• You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, and we action it promptly.
• Some of our marketing may be sent by, or on behalf of, a group company in another country (for example, our United States company for a United States experience). It is still sent under the consent you gave us and always carries a working unsubscribe.
• Marketing emails identify the Realscape company sending them and include a contact address.

If you have not opted in, we will not send you marketing; we will still use your information to respond to an enquiry you made.

6. Advertising, analytics and tracking

We use third party advertising, analytics, attribution and measurement partners to understand how our experiences are found and to promote them. These may include partners such as Meta, Google and TikTok, where they are configured for the site.

• When you visit, these partners may set cookies or similar technologies and receive information about your visit.
• Where they are configured, we may also share limited information with advertising and measurement partners - including a securely hashed (obscured) version of details such as your email, and your IP address and device information - so that advertising can be measured and attributed. We describe this here so you know it can occur.

You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies (for example in the UK or EU), we ask for it before setting them.

7. Who we share your information with

We share personal information with:

• Companies in the Realscape group - including Realscape Productions Pty Ltd (Australia), Realscape Productions LLC (United States), Realscape Productions Inc (Canada) and Realscape Productions Ltd (New Zealand), and any other group company we add to this policy before it receives your information - so that we can market and run our experiences across the group (section 5);
• our hosting, database, email-delivery and infrastructure providers, who run the platform and send our email on our behalf;
• our bot-protection provider (Cloudflare Turnstile), which checks that form submissions come from a real person;
• the advertising and analytics partners in section 6; and
• others where required by law or to protect our rights.

We remain responsible for the information we hand to our service providers, and we use contracts and other reasonable measures so that they protect it and only use it for the purposes we set.

8. Sending your information overseas

Realscape is based in Australia and operates internationally, so your personal information may be stored or processed outside your own country - in particular in Australia and the United States, and in other countries where our group companies and service providers operate.

This means your information may be handled in a country with different privacy laws from your own, and may be accessible to the courts, law enforcement and government authorities of those countries under their local laws. Where we transfer your information across borders, we take reasonable steps so that it is protected in a way consistent with this policy, and we remain accountable for how it is handled. Where the law of your location requires a specific transfer safeguard, we use one before we make the transfer:

• for visitors in the UK or EU, transfers to countries without an "adequacy" decision are made under standard contractual clauses (or the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or addendum), or to a recipient certified under the relevant EU-US or UK-US Data Privacy Framework;
• for visitors in New Zealand, before disclosing your information to an overseas recipient that uses it for its own purposes, we use contractual model clauses that provide comparable protection, or rely on your informed authorisation given after we tell you the recipient may not be required to protect your information to a standard comparable to New Zealand's Privacy Act.

9. How long we keep your information

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy - for example, to respond to you, to run our marketing while you remain opted in, and to meet legal obligations. When you unsubscribe, we suppress you from marketing. When your information is no longer needed for any purpose set out here, and we are not required to keep it by law, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

10. Keeping your information secure, and data breaches

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online service can be completely secure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will assess it and notify the affected people and the relevant privacy regulator as required by the law that applies.

Bot protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to confirm that a submission comes from a real person and to protect against automated abuse. When you submit a form, Cloudflare collects technical information about your device and session (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to make this check. Cloudflare processes this information as our service provider, for security purposes only - not for advertising or analytics. 11. Children

Our site is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 to use the site, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Individual experiences carry their own (higher) audience ages, shown at the point of purchase. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

You can always unsubscribe from marketing, ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@realscapeproductions.com. Your specific rights, and the regulator you can complain to, depend on where you are:

We may update this policy. We will change the "last updated" date below, and where a change materially affects your rights we will take reasonable steps to notify you in advance. Previous versions remain available on request.
